Hi, I have hair loss and hair thinning? I got my blood tests done, and the reports are normal, my thyroid is working fine (T3, T4, TSH)? I need a consultation with an experienced dermatologist who can help me solve my hair loss problem?

Hair loss despite normal thyroid may be linked to deficiencies or stress. Common causes include low iron, Vitamin D, B12, or ferritin levels. PCOS, hormonal imbalance, or scalp infections can also contribute. Dermatologists can assess scalp condition and suggest topical/minoxidil based therapy. Nutritional support and stress reduction are also key.

Hi Doctor, this is Santosh. I recently had a dihydrotestosterone blood test done because of hair loss. Today I received my report, and the result is 779 pg/mL (reference range: 250 to 990). Is this considered normal, or do I need to take any medication for it? Please advise.
