My blood report comment says I have hypochromia but my hemoglobin is normal. What is the reason behind it, is this serious or normal?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Hypochromia means pale RBCs, often due to early iron deficiency. Even with normal hemoglobin, iron stores may be low.
