I fractured a muscle in my right leg a few months ago and now Im seeing these dark lines on the nerves in my thigh. Is this something I should be worried about? Could it be a serious issue?

The dark lines on your nerves could be due to bruising or inflammation. It is important to monitor for any changes in sensation, color, or temperature in that area. To help with healing and reduce inflammation, you can take ibuprofen (Advil) 400mg every 4-6 hours as needed. Make sure to rest your leg and elevate it when possible. If the dark lines persist or if you experience worsening symptoms, it is advisable to consult with your healthcare provider for further evaluation.

View allShould I consider surgery for this or can it heal with medication? What medicines would you recommend for my condition?
The need for surgery versus medication depends entirely on your specific condition. A doctor needs to diagnose your condition and assess its severity before recommending a treatment plan. Depending on the diagnosis, medications may be sufficient, or surgery might be necessary. Common pain medications include NSAIDs, opioids, and local anesthetics, but these should only be taken under a doctor's supervision.

My MRI showed ligament damage but I'm not sure if surgery is the only option. Are there other treatments I could try first or is surgery really necessary in my case? I'm a bit worried about going under the knife if there are alternatives that might work.
for P/E ORTHO specialist opinion is advised to the patient.

my doctor says I have spondylolisthesis where the 4th and 5th vertebrae are overlapping and told me to swim for 2 weeks before considering surgery. I've had foot pain for about 3 weeks now is this really something that needs surgery or could it just be routine pain that'll go away on its own?
Spondylolisthesis pain may improve with swimming, core strengthening, and spine therapy;MRI and perseverance determine if surgery is avoided.
